I’m trying to remove an old Delta single-handle pull-out kitchen faucet. I’ve disconnected the lines, removed the mounting nuts, and removed the sprayer hose – no problems with any of that. However, I still can’t pull out the faucet. I think the problem is that there’s still some sort of bracket underneath the sink attached to the sprayer hose connector. It’s hard to describe since I have no idea what it is, so here are some pictures:

You can see there’s a C-shaped bracket attached to the hose connector underneath the sink. Has anyone seen anything like that before? How do I get that off? I haven’t been able to get it to budge or twist at all. Do I have to unscrew it? It doesn’t look like there’s room for it to turn…

I have an American Standard single handled kitchen faucet (it looks like a pretty cheap model). I removed the plastic cap on top of the handle and removed the screw on top of the handle and the handle will not come off no matter how hard I pull on it. All of the directions online show a screw underneath the handle, my faucet does not have that. I have removed the only screw I can find. I’m driving myself nuts trying to figure this out, pretty soon I may resort to a sledge hammer
Thank you, prying it up gently with a flat screw driver did the trick and saved my sanity

Everytime I use the kitchen faucet in my condo and turn the hot or cold handle too high it makes a loud sputtering noise(maybe air?). Then the water stops coming out. I have to turn the handle to off to make it stop and then use it only on low pressure and it is driving me nuts, please help!

My kitchen faucet is driving me nuts! It leaks and has handles to turn the water off and on instead of the "arm" type I want. It actually looks more like something I would expect to find in a bathroom. Is it something that someone who is not mechanically inclined could do or should I call a plumber?
