while the cold water was running I bumped the sprayer and the faucet stopped letting water through altogether. I have tried taking the sprayer apart, but I can’t get water to come out of anything. I am getting water coming up to the faucet from the supply below the sink. The faucet is just a standard kitchen faucet, a cold handle, a hot one, and the sprayer. It was bought from Kmart five years ago, any suggestions to get the water to flow again?
I had thew water supply on, as it was running when it happened,. I took the sprayer head off with everything as it was when the faucet was working, and I am not getting anything to come out now, but I can feel the water coming up from the supply, I can feel the temperature differences.
When I say the sprayer, I am referring to the clack spray extension, not the actual faucet itself where the water comes out when the faucet is turned on.
I noticed about a week ago that my kitchen water temperature was lukewarm. I have a single handle faucet in the kitchen sink.
All the faucets in my apartment are that way. I checked the water temperature in the bathroom. It is coming out hot in the bathroom sink and shower. The hottest temperature in the kitchen faucet is lukewarm.
My husband thinks that it could be something wrong with the mixer valve in the faucet itself. Does the faucet need replacing in the kitchen? Will a new faucet solve the temperature problem?
Thanks for any answers.
The hot water valve is opened all the way.
So it’s not the hot water valve. It’s horrible doing dishes. I have to boil water to make sure they’re sanitary. I will inform the landlord about the faucet. He is quick to get repairs done.
I just purchased and installed a Price Pfister Florentino 2 lever kitchen faucet. When turning off the hot water, the lever rotates beyond the off position and gets out of alignment. I keep having to unscrew the handle, realign it and tighten it back in place. But it quickly get turned around again with normal use. What should I do to fix this permanently??
I live in a small apartment. No gas lines. No prior dishwasher. I’d like to find a more permanent solution to installing a ventless washer/dryer in my kitchen (I know about the Y-connector / drain into sink solution). My faucet uses just one handle for hot/cold water. Beneath the sink is the drain, and separate braided connections to the hot and cold water valves. My question is, can I somehow split the hot and cold water valve to feed both the kitchen faucet and the washing machine (since both need a separate hot/cold water source)? The LG unit has hot and cold water inlet hoses. Also, how can I create a new drain for this same set up? I can’t tear into the walls/interior piping or spend hundreds on a plumber. Thanks!
We replaced the part that goes under the kitchen faucet handle (it used to leak around the base of the handle) and now it squeaks when you turn it off.
The water in my kitchen sink has stopped. I have both handles on so the water won’t freeze up. I go into the bathroom and turn the water on the bathtub faucet and the kitchen faucet water comes out. What can I do or have to do to get the water in kitchen going again?
I am removing a single lever, 1 hole sink, kitchen faucet. it is a danze faucet. It does not have a nut on it under the sink, but it appears to be tightened. what other ways are these faucets attached to the sink? i have the lines disconnected but i cant remove the faucet. i took the handle off too, but i dont see any screws or anything. please help!!!
There were to screws in the bottom but they werent screwed into a nut. could it just be sealed with some sort of gasket?

I just want to know how do you repair that type of kitchen faucet mentioned in the link? Since there seems to be like a tool you have to use on the side of the handle, I just don’t know what type of tool you have to use? or how to open the handle.
