How can I modify my existing kitchen sink plumbing to accommodate a LG WM3431 ventless washer/dryer?

I live in a small apartment. No gas lines. No prior dishwasher. I’d like to find a more permanent solution to installing a ventless washer/dryer in my kitchen (I know about the Y-connector / drain into sink solution). My faucet uses just one handle for hot/cold water. Beneath the sink is the drain, and separate braided connections to the hot and cold water valves. My question is, can I somehow split the hot and cold water valve to feed both the kitchen faucet and the washing machine (since both need a separate hot/cold water source)? The LG unit has hot and cold water inlet hoses. Also, how can I create a new drain for this same set up? I can’t tear into the walls/interior piping or spend hundreds on a plumber. Thanks!

how to fix a squeaky faucet handle?

We replaced the part that goes under the kitchen faucet handle (it used to leak around the base of the handle) and now it squeaks when you turn it off.

What do I need to do?

The water in my kitchen sink has stopped. I have both handles on so the water won’t freeze up. I go into the bathroom and turn the water on the bathtub faucet and the kitchen faucet water comes out. What can I do or have to do to get the water in kitchen going again?

Help with my new faucet?

We just put a new faucet in our kitchen. It is a Peerless two handle model P99578LF-D. When we turn on the cold or the hot all the way by itself, it is fine. But then when we turn the hot or cold all the way together, the flow kind of pauses for not even a second and "jumps" a little bit, then they both come out. It might continue doing that once or twice after a few seconds. Our old faucet definitely wasn’t doing this and we only replaced it because it was leaking. Help?

why does my hot water trickle out?

I have an oil heated furnace. Cold water goes into my furnace an I have an output side from the furnace to my kitchen sink then goes to the other side of the house it split again to the upstair bathroom and then the downstairs bathroom. In the morning I have hot water for a shower for about 30 seconds then it dies off. I tried turning off the cold water between the kitchen sink and the upstairs an my hot water turned down to a trickle out of the shower. I took my single handled faucet knob off and turned it past the plasitc stop and the water got hoter but pressure really diminished. I’m thinking mineral deposit build up (the house is 35 years old) due to the white calcium build up around my shower head. I replaced the shower and tub with PVC about 6 years ago. I the problem has been getting progressive worse over the past 5 years. Is it a problem with my set up or calcium deposts or something else? Furnace was just cleaned. Pipes have styrofoam insulation.

Paranoid about chicken cross contamination?

I hate working with raw chicken. It can get annoying when you are worried about cross contamination.

Here’s my scenario.
I open the package of chicken, touch them, and now my hands have chicken juices. If I open the cupboards to grab a plate to place the chicken on, then I’m contaminating the clean plates with chicken juices. So I rinse my hands with water without soap. It would dry my hands and be annoying to have to wash your hands with soap and water evertime you have to touch something that is clean. Now if I have to open the refridgerator, I have to wash my hands again before going back to workign with the chicken. Then when I touch the faucet, the faucet handle is now contaminated. If I turn on the faucet with my arms or wrist instead, then chicken juices drips.
When I am finished there are chicken juices on the counter. I wipe it with a warm/hot rag without any bleach/detergetn and then rinse the rag with just plain warm/hot water wtihout bleach/detergent and use it later for the other counters in the kitchen. When I am finished with everything, I wash my hands with soap but I can still feel chicken parts between my nails but I can’t get it out so I just ignore it.

Are there easier w ays to work with chicken? Am I risking any cross contamination? Am I just being to paranoid/OCD?

Help. My kitchen faucet is slow to shut off and has lost significant pressure.?

I have a single handle Price Pfister Parisa model, that has an extendable sprayer. Recently I have lost significant water pressure. Also, when I turn the water off, the water continues to run at low pressure for approximately 2-3 seconds before stopping. At first I thought it may be the areator, but I removed the sprayer, and the same problems persist through the sprayer hose alone. Please help and be specific. I am a first time homeowner and a complete idiot when it comes to plumbing. Thanks in advance!
someone said to put the hose in a bucket. I’ve already removed the sprayer and ran the water through the hose and the problem persists.
